| How is Sekisui Migusa produced? | It's made by mixing calcium with polypropylene, shaping it into a "grass" similar to rush grass, and then "weaving" it in the same way as rush grass. |
| Does Sekisui Migusa develop mold? | Sekisui Migusa is completely mold-free. |
| Does Sekisui Migusa change color? | Almost no difference |
| While rush grass can peel or fray, what about Sekisui Migusa? | Some slight pilling may occur due to aging. However, it will not adhere to clothing. This is because calcium is mixed in during the molding process to make it closer to natural materials. It's said to be three times more durable than rush grass. |
| What are the drawbacks of *Sekisui Migusa*? | The biggest advantage is that it doesn't have the scent of rush grass. While its color retention is a benefit, the fact that it doesn't change color can make dirt more noticeable. It can melt from cigarette lighters or irons. |

The core material of tatami mats is All wood fiberboard without foam. Fiberboard is a general term for fiberboard. The material used in tatami mat flooring is called insulation board. Insulation board is made by pressing wood into fibers. Insulation board does not use adhesives that release formaldehyde. It is an "Eco Mark" certified product as it is 100% recycled wood. The tatami mat sizes on this page are as follows: Width can be processed up to 90cm.(Standard size) Width can be processed up to 100cm.(Large size) Length can be processed up to 180cm.(Standard size) Length can be processed up to 200cm.(Large size) Adjustable in 1mm increments. Thickness is available in 5mm increments from 13mm and 15mm up to 60mm. The 13mm thickness is suitable for underfloor heating. 24mm and 27mm thicknesses are also suitable for underfloor heating.
