Where is *Sekisui Migusa* native to? It is manufactured by Sekisui Seikei Kogyo Co., Ltd. in Japan. How is Sekisui Migusa produced? It's made by mixing calcium with polypropylene, shaping it into a "grass" similar to rush grass, and then "weaving" it in the same way as rush grass. Does Sekisui Migusa develop mold? Sekisui Migusa is completely mold-free. Does Sekisui Migusa change color? Almost no difference While rush grass can peel or fray, what about Sekisui Migusa? Some slight pilling may occur due to aging. However, it will not adhere to clothing. This is because calcium is mixed in during the molding process to make it closer to natural materials. It's said to be three times more durable than rush grass. What are the drawbacks of *Sekisui Migusa*? The biggest advantage is that it doesn't have the scent of rush grass. While its color retention is a benefit, the fact that it doesn't change color can make dirt more noticeable. It can melt from cigarette lighters or irons.
